Data Deletion Policy

At WIFTT, a product of Digital Artisan FZCO, we respect your right to control your data. This page explains how users can delete their data from the WIFTT platform, either partially (by removing specific channels) or completely (by deleting their entire workspace).


Overview

WIFTT stores customer communication and workspace data only to provide its core services. Users have full control over their data and can initiate deletion directly from within their WIFTT account without contacting support.

Data deletion is permanent and irreversible.


Option 1: Delete Data by Removing a Channel (App)

If you want to remove data related to a specific communication channel (for example: WhatsApp, Facebook Messenger, Instagram, etc.), you can do so from your workspace.

Steps:

  1. Log in to your WIFTT Workspace.
  2. Navigate to Settings → Channels.
  3. Select the channel you want to remove.
  4. Click Remove / Disconnect Channel.
  5. Confirm the action.

What Gets Deleted:

  • Messages and chat history related to that channel
  • Media files exchanged on that channel
  • Channel-specific integrations and configurations

Other workspace data (leads, pipelines, custom fields, and other channels) will remain intact.


Option 2: Delete All Data by Deleting Your Workspace

If you want to permanently remove all data from WIFTT, you must delete your workspace.

Steps:

  1. Log in to your WIFTT Workspace.
  2. Go to Workspace Settings.
  3. Select Delete Workspace.
  4. Confirm deletion.

What Gets Deleted:

Deleting a workspace permanently removes all associated data, including but not limited to:

  • Leads and contacts
  • Custom fields
  • Chat conversations and messages
  • Media files and attachments
  • All connected channels and integrations
  • Pipelines, stages, and opportunities
  • Automation rules and configurations
  • User access and collaboration data

Once a workspace is deleted, data cannot be recovered.


Data Retention After Deletion

  • Data deletion is processed immediately upon confirmation.
  • No user data is retained after workspace deletion, except where legally required for compliance or audit purposes.
  • Backup systems are purged according to our internal data lifecycle policies.

Meta (Facebook) Platform – Data Deletion Instructions

WIFTT integrates with Meta platforms (such as Facebook and Instagram) to enable messaging features. Users who connected their Meta accounts can request data deletion using the following method:

How Meta Users Can Delete Their Data:

  1. Log in to your WIFTT account.
  2. Remove the relevant Meta channel (Facebook Page or Instagram account)
    OR
  3. Delete your entire WIFTT workspace to remove all data associated with Meta integrations.
